The Fall River Veterinary Hospital was built in 1962 as a satellite clinic to Dr. Conrad Ferreira's Redding area practice.
The clinic was purchased a year later by Dr. Tom Vestal and operated as a solo mixed practice until 1977 when Dr. Evans was hired as an associate. A partnership between Dr. Vestal and Dr. Evans was formed in 1988.
The hospital underwent a building expansion in 2004-2005, which modernized and increased the hospital to 2100 sq. ft.
Dr. Evans became sole owner of the hospital in 1996 where he maintained a successful solo mixed practice until retirement in August 2016 when he sold the practice to Dr. Jen Imus.
Dr. Imus will continue to operate as a mixed practice with plans to expand and continually improve services within the service area.
